Dunblane railway station had been home to this impressive railway bridge from the mid 1850s until 2015. Millar Callaghan were awarded the contract to carefully dismantle the fragile cast iron bridge, from what had been its home for 167 years and transport it to our Irvine workshop, where it was restored to its former glory. In March 2017 the refurbished Bridge was transported to its new home where it was erected between platforms 1 and 2 at Bridge of Dun Railway Station in Brechin. The local residents came out in force to welcome the new addition to their station and watched as the bridge was installed in what will hopefully be its home for the next 167 years.
